If you’ve followed our journey over the past few months, you’ll know it hasn’t been the easiest period for us.
We’ve always tried to be open and honest with our customers, which is why many of you will have seen the videos from Robert, our GoFundMe campaign, and the conversations we’ve been having about the challenges facing independent restaurants.
Running a restaurant has never been easy. In recent years it has become even harder. Rising costs, changing customer habits, increasing bills, and the general pressure on hospitality have created challenges that many independent businesses are facing every day.
There were moments when things felt uncertain.

That’s why we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Because something incredible happened.
April turned out to be one of the best months we have ever had.
In fact, we recorded some of the busiest days in our history.
The dining room was often full. The takeaway orders kept coming. New faces visited us for the first time, while familiar faces continued to support us as they always have.
We honestly cannot put into words how much that meant to us.
Every booking. Every takeaway order. Every recommendation to a friend. Every social media share. Every person who chose to spend their money with us.
It all mattered.
Independent restaurants survive because people make a conscious decision to support them, and over the past few months you’ve done exactly that.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Unfortunately, as is often the case in hospitality, when one challenge eases, another appears.
Recently, two of our chefs have had to step away from the kitchen due to illness.
Their health comes first and we wish them both a full and speedy recovery. They are valued members of our team and we look forward to welcoming them back when they’re ready.
In the meantime, we find ourselves short of two key people in our kitchen.

So, we’re reaching out.
We’re looking for chefs.
Not just people who can cook, but people who genuinely care about food. People who take pride in their work. People who understand that hospitality is about more than getting plates out of the kitchen.
We’re looking for chefs who cook with passion. Chefs who cook from the heart.
The kind of people who still care whether every dish leaving the pass is something they’d be proud to serve to their own family.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

And if it doesn’t, perhaps you know someone who might be the perfect fit.
Please share this post with friends, family, former colleagues, or anyone who might be looking for a new opportunity.
The support you’ve shown us over the past few months has been incredible.
We’re still here because of this community.
And with a little help, we’ll continue building something special together.
Thank you again for everything.
The Thai Team
